Deep purple-red; complex, scented, absolutely classic Cabernet Sauvignon, at once powerful yet austere by Australian standards, and with distinct overtones of Bordeaux. On the palate, again a wine of exceptional quality and authority with blackcurrant and plum fruit flavours woven through with high-quality French oak and fine but lingering tannins on a long finish. Surely the best yet. Drink to 2007.
