Huon Hooke
(Now known as The Paringa) Medium to deep red/purple rim. Youthful color. Fresh and young, more primary than the 2005. Bright, fresh primary fruits, loads of spice and red fruit aromas, tight and elegant, light to medium-bodied and not as fleshy as post-2005 wines. Light in the mouth, very pleasant all the same but lacks the gravitas of more recent vintages.
