Medium to light tawny colour with amber tinges; the bouquet tremendously complex and inviting, with a nose that reminds of a cross between an old wood-aged sherry and an old tawny port. The palate is rich and sweet and candy-like, with a touch of rancio and loads of mellow-aged character, finishing with liberal sweetness. Very good, and I've always loved the playful name and label!
