Huon Hooke
Deep red, still has purple. Very rich deep mocha nose, loads of oak-infused aromas; smooth and fleshy, deep and plush. Minty, essency berries also, lots happening here. Generous and flavoursome, if a touch oak-driven.

Very good colour; extremely potent, powerful and long, the back palate enriched with fine tannins and dark fruits; outstanding wine; French oak; 65%/35%. Drink to 2022.

Very deep garnet colour with a touch of brick. Intensely minty with a lot of hot cassis and oak. Big, rich, dense and full. Crisp acidity. Long finish. The powerful style with overwhelming mint and oak flavours make this wine a little unbalanced and difficult to drink.
