Huon Hooke
Very good colour for its age. Meaty dusty earthy, developed, tertiary characters make up the bouquet. Quite developed and savoury, perhaps a bit dried-out. Beginning to build complexity. Lean profile with lively acid: adjusted? It sits apart from the wine. Lots of oak-infused characters; smoked oysters, etc. Good wine but not great.

95 Points James Halliday
Exceptional colour for a 7-year-old; medium- to full-bodied, opening with a supple array of black fruits in the mouth, then firming up with ripe tannins on the finish. Drink to 2021.
