Very light yellow in colour. Lolly esters, bubblegum and lightly grassy aromas; fresh and clean. A touch of lemon-juice. Lots of salad greens. Tight, delicate and bone-dry palate, with sit-up-straight acidity and real tang. Needs food, such as oysters. Has intensity and length.

The 2011 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc offers a moderate intensity of lemon / lime and apple aromas with a whiff of fresh herbs. Light bodied, crisp and with a decent concentration of pure, clean citrus and green apple flavors, it has a medium-long finish. Drink it now through 2013.

Vivid bright quartz-green; the bouquet is fresh and spotlessly clean, but as at August '11 it was the palate that captured command, with sparkling lemon/grass/citrus ex the semillon, and perfectly integrated pink grapefruit and passionfruit ex the sauvignon blanc. Drink to 2013.
