Huon Hooke
Deep, bright purple/red colour. Minty and slightly vegetal, herbal aroma, dusty and woodsy as well, some oaky hints. Chewy tannins, dense and grippy, thick and textural, oak-infused and a little contrived, but a great rich mouthful of red wine.

95 Points James Halliday
Bright crimson-purple; sourced from the single vineyard whose name it bears, the wine spent 18 months in a mix of new and used French oak barriques; it has excellent structure to the medium-bodied palate, and the balance between redcurrant and more savoury/olive fruit is strengthened by the oak. Drink to 2035.
