Medium red-purple; the bouquet has a mix of very ripe, opulent cassis and blackberry fruit together with more fragrant cedary/foresty notes, promising much for the palate. Here, however, cedary, dusty tannins, part oak-derived, part from the fruit, disrupt the flow. Drink to 2007.
