I was really surprised that such a lush & superb "sauternes look-alike" could be found in the Hilltops region of NSW. A trophy-winning wine that likewise impressed a group of wine-savvy drinkers on the day, including a Hunter Valley winery owner! Very long palate, with rich sweetness and excellent balancing acidity to obliterate any sense of cloying, leaving a lovely and long silky wisp of a finish. A great dessert wine on its own and robust enough to stand up to just about any dessert - would be heaven with a pear tart, for example. Save a small fortune vs similar quality sauternes. Tried this in June 2022 and there's plenty of room for it to go and go and go.

Tiny production quantity for vineyard owners own conaumption. As a young wine, won 2 trophies. Has only improved since being stored after bottling at Cellarit. Perfect with fresh fruit.
