Medium-deep red, slight purple. Black fruits, some black olive, gunsmoke and a lick of crushed herbs. Intense wine with firm tannins and some oakiness, but overall savoury and deep, with structure and gravitas. Good concentration. Mouth-puckering after-grip. Needs time. Impressive, serious stuff.
