Ranked #11 of 17 2015 Shiraz Grenache from McLaren Vale
89/100

Huon Hooke
Deep red colour with a tint of purple. The aromas are fresh, clean, lightly herbal and cola-like, the palate is likewise with cherry liqueur and has a bitter cherry aftertaste. The tannins finish quite firm: it needs food and could take some age well. Alcohol to finish.

93 Points James Halliday
60% old vine shiraz and 40% old bushvine grenache. Good colour; the bouquet hums with warm spices that are in turn a major part of the medium-boded palate, joining plum and red berry fruit. Carries its alcohol well, and is ready to go. Drink to 2021.
