Deep red/purple colour, fresh and youthful, while the bouquet is strong on violets and dark fruits, the floral cabernet aromas typically evident in the young wine and yet to develop into a mature Tignanello. The palate is also glorious, powerful and very intense, with amazingly fleshy density, high extract and satisfying texture, the finish flowing on and on. Great wine. (The blend is approx 80% sangiovese, 15% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc, as it has always been)
