A medium-bodied, engaging shiraz, with heightened fruit fragrance and moderate alcohol. The palate is beautifully bright and airy, and the tannins are velvety and mild. The wine is matured in seasoned oak to allow the red berry aromatics to shine. Beautifully harmonious and balanced

A fascinating wine, with the lowish alcohol (12.8%) and reductive handling, brushed with a sensitive application of oak, giving a nudge and a wink to fashionable regions, particularly those in Victoria. Blueberry, iodine, violet and olive paste notes are strung along a beam of peppery acidity and clove-doused tannins, moderate but palpably grippy. This is a restrained, sophisticated expression. Drink to 2028.
