Deep red/purple colour with a herbal, nettley aroma, peppercorn, stalky and almond-mealy. Some geranium. It’s rather green and tight on the palate, with sappy tannins and it's a tad unyielding. It needs time and could build into something more approachable in time. Today, it's tight and a bit green and peppery.
