Huon Hooke
Medium to light red/purple colour, bright. Oddball medicinal aromas of cherry cough syrup. The palate is bright and fresh and more than a little shrill, with a touch of hollowness mid-palate and a fairly simple spectrum of flavour. The finish is pinched and slightly short. A pleasant lighter pinot.

93 Points James Halliday
The meticulous nature of Jeffrey Grosset shows in his wines, and the brightly coloured and alluring wine exhibits dark cherry, plum and fine French oak; the palate is lively, with taut acidity providing line, and fine-grained tannins the structure for the seductive fruit to cling to; expansive and poised on the finish. Outstanding result for '11. Drink to 2018.
