Opaque and bright, lovely and dense. It's a complex and confident bouquet - blackberry jam, strident French oak and berry compote. This is lithe, and beautifully-balanced. Ripe, red plum fruit with cranberry fresh acidity. Oak allows the fruit to sing. Years ahead of this. Serious

A blend of a number of parcels of fruit and different winemaking techniques. There's a wealth of ripe plum and blackberry fruit here, so smooth, so spiced and juicy, so Heathcote. Fills the mouth and makes for a rich, ripe expression with woodsy spice, licorice and dark chocolate. The palate arcs long with sturdy tannins in tow. Released as a 4yo wine, it's got a long journey ahead. Drink to 2032.
