Medium to deep red colour with a tinge of purple and a bouquet of smoky oak and slightly pork sausage, charcuterie-like aromas. Airing reveals more fruit aromas, raspberry-like, and lashings of oak. The palate is tightly-focused, firm and long, with good middle-palate intensity and some chewy tannins to finish. Cellaring will be rewarded.
