95 Points Robert Parker
The 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from a 35 year old vineyard with yields under 1 ton per acre. It was raised in 57% new French oak for 18 months. It displays an enticing perfume of wood smoke, eucalyptus, violets, black currant, and blackberry. Structured and slightly sinewy on the palate, this full-bodied , ripe effort has a slightly tannic finish. It will benefit from 5-7 years of cellaring and drink well through 2027.
