93+ Points Robert Parker
Very deep garnet-purple, 2009 Reserve Shiraz gives baked blackberry and blueberry pie aromas with supporting notes of loam, dried leaves, mocha and allspice. The palate is very big, very full and concentrated at 16% declared alcohol with medium-high acid and firm grainy tannins. It offers very good persistence if a little hot in the finish. It should drink best from 2012 to 2022.
