The fruit is grown at two sites on the Eastern slopes of the Colbinabbin range in the north of the Heathcote region. This wine is a polished gentleman, poised and distinguished. The nose is vibrant, full of sarsaparilla and mixed spice. The nose is filled with dark red fruits and hints of leaf. It showcases Heathcote Cabernet! A great array of flavours from cassis through thyme, sage, star anise and fresh cut fennel. This release of the Ducks and Drakes is beautifully balanced.
