Medium red-purple; strongly fragrant vanillin oak is the major feature of the bouquet, though there is fruit underneath. On the palate that cunningly handled oak gives a range of soft, cedar, vanilla and lemon flavours around the core of rich fruit. A fresh, yet at the same time traditional, Australian style. Drink to 2005.
