A blend of wine from Baroosa Valley, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale made in the classic ""big, chewy and complex"" Blass style. Seamless wine with impressive weight and great flavor concentration. Wonderfully drinkable now but will cellar for many years yet.

The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (51%)-Shiraz (49%) was aged in new French and American oak for 24 months. A saturated purple color, it emits an aromatic array of pain grille, pencil lead, black currant, blueberry, and mint. This leads to a full-bodied, smooth-textured, dense wine in which coffee, chocolate, and plum flavors make an appearance. There is enough fine-grained tannin to ensure another 5-7 years of development. It will be at its best from 2013 to 2025. Source: Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) December, 2009 by Jay Miller
