Bright, youthful, purple-tinged colour; fresh and brightly aromatic bouquet. Lovely wine, very concentrated and powerful, but also dense and rich, with some alcohol warmth and not too oaky. Dense and immaculate.

Finished its fermentation in new and used French oak, and matured in that oak for 18 months. The distinctive handling of the oak is as powerful as the McLaren Vale veil of dark chocolate. Drink to 2033.
